TERM LIMITS

Career Politicians are continually failing ordinary people. We need term limits to prevent corrupt career politicians from staying in power too long.  It is easy to see how poorly the federal government is run and how long it takes to accomplish anything. We have career politicians here in Idaho and many in America, both Republican and Democrat. This is not a party issue; it is an American issue where politicians take advantage of people who elected them in good faith.  Our founding fathers set a precedent of 2 terms (8 years) for a President until a Democrat (FDR) broke that tradition.  

My proposal for Term Limits would be 12 years. That would be up to six terms for a member of Congress and a maximum of two terms for a Senator. No more career politicians.
